Il design di questo chalet nascosto nel bosco deriva da una lettura sensibile del magnifico sito naturale in cui sorge e dall’indubbio fascino.
Il progetto vede la riqualificazione di una vecchia costruzione in pietra esistente, segnata e provata dal tempo e dall’incuria, riportata alla vita mantenendo l’impianto originario, implementato dalla realizzazione di una seconda struttura interna incastrata nella prima.
Il risultato è la formalizzazione di un disegno originario del fabbricato, con copertura a capanna ormai andato perduto, attuato mediante una meticolosa operazione di ricostruzione e ricucitura, in cui la pietra della struttura di base viene baciata dalla nuova in legno, materiale che, naturalmente, circonda il piccolo impianto.
Questa esperienza progettuale ha permesso di cogliere l'intero potenziale del sito stesso e delle diverse atmosfere che offre, riuscendo a realizzare una casetta nella boscaglia che, in soli 60 mq., racchiude un ambiente caldo, in grado di ricevere familiari ed amici, in stretta connessione con l'ambiente, creando una simbiosi unica tra natura e architettura.
OUT AND ABOUT
The design of this chalet hidden in the woods derives from a sensitive reading of the magnificent natural site where it rises and from the undoubted charm of the area.
The project sees the redevelopment of an old existing building in stone, marked and tested by time passing and neglect, brought back to life by maintaining the original layout, integrated by the construction of a second internal structure embedded in the first.
The result is the formalization of an original design of the building, with a hut roof now lost, implemented through a meticulous reconstruction and re-stitching operation, in which the new wooden construction, material that naturally surrounds the small edifice, kisses the stone of the base structure.
This design experience has allowed us to grasp the full potential of the site and the different atmospheres it offers, managing to build a small house in the woods that, in just 60 square meters, contains a warm space, able to receive family and friends, in close connection with the environment, creating a unique symbiosis between nature and architecture.
