CON PERMESSO
Uno degli aspetti più emozionanti dell’architettura di recupero è quello di pensare, progettare ed operare in punta di piedi, in maniera educata e rispettosa. Quasi reverenziale.
E’ stato questo il caso di ‘Con Permesso’: il progetto prevedere di intervenire su due fabbricati (una ex stalla ed un fabbricato effimero destinato al ricovero attrezzi per lavorare i campi) all’interno di un lotto più ampio inserito in un contesto agreste.
L’intervento sul fabbricato di maggior pregio, realizzato in muratura, con inserti di mandolate in cotto e copertura tipica in legno, prevede la conservazione delle strutture originarie così da mantenere il più possibile l’assetto, la morfologia e la caratterizzazione materica natale e l’inserimento gentile di un nuovo elemento dal sapore contemporaneo.
Recupero, però, non vuol dire solo la conservazione fisica dell’edificato ma, in particolar modo se si tratta di un edificio storico, si tratta di mantenere il significato e l’ideologia originaria: il nuovo innesto, quindi, ricalca il profilo dell’immobile esistente ma lo rende un oggetto della contemporaneità grazie all’utilizzo di materiali, strutture e tecniche moderne.
Il risultato è un complesso che nasce dal vecchio, dal passato, e che prosegue il suo ciclo di vita nell’era odierna grazie anche ad una nuova funzionalizzazione degli ambienti che ben si conformano per accogliere eventi polivalenti ed eterogenei.
EXCUSE ME
One of the most exciting aspects of recovery architecture is to think, plan and operate on tiptoe, in a polite and respectful manner. Almost reverential.
This was the case of ‘Excuse Me’: the project plans to intervene on two buildings (a former stable and an ephemeral building destined to shelter tools for working the fields) within a larger lot inserted in a rural context.
The intervention on the building of greater value, made of masonry, with inserts of mandolate (cotto bricks handmade) and typical wooden roof, looks for the preservation of the original structures so as to maintain as much as possible of the morphology and characterization given by the materials and, on the other hand, the gentle insertion of a new element with a contemporary flavour.
Recovery, however, does not only focuses on the physical conservation of the building but, especially if it is an historical construction, it is a matter of maintaining the original meaning and ideology: the new implant, therefore, follows the profile of the existing building but makes it an object of contemporaneity thanks to the use of modern materials, structures and techniques.
The result is a complex that arises from the old, from the past, and continues its life cycle in today's era thanks to a new functionalization of environments that are nicely conformed to accommodate multi-purpose and heterogeneous events.
