SOSPESO NEL VERDE
La casa che sognavamo da piccoli, nascosta tra le fronde di un albero, dove prendevano vita creature immaginate e mondi paralleli, al riparo dallo sguardo invadenti degli adulti impazienti di carpire i nostri segreti più inestimabili, esiste!
O quasi.
Sospeso dal Verde è il contenitore di 12 appartamenti, alle porte del centro storico di Lucca e si configura come esempio di edificio residenziale sostenibile che incentiva e promuove la rigenerazione dell’ambiente.
Si inverte la classica proporzione tra costruito e parte vegetale a favore di un progetto che si caratterizza per la preponderante presenza del verde che si appropria delle superfici e dello spazio.
Al piano terra trovano spazio volumi eterei, realizzati in legno, che accolgono aree lounge, private ed esterne così da offrire diversi gradi di permeabilità e privacy, in base alle necessità, oltre a fungere da filtro e controllo solare sul versante esposto a sud.
Dai piani superiori, invece, si affacciano e sporgono alberi e piante che vanno a comporre un disegno ben identificabile che caratterizza quest’isola di verde come elemento riconoscibile nel contesto.
Lo studio ed il posizionamento strategico del verde, quindi, contribuisce alla creazione di uno speciale microclima, produce umidità ed ossigeno, assorbe particelle di CO2 e polveri sottili e, grazie alla mitigazione del verde di progetto, vengono protetti gli spazi interni dalla radiazione solare diretta e contengono l’inquinamento acustico.
L’habitat biologico dell’edificio sospeso dal verde, inoltre, agisce in maniera diretta sulla biodiversità che ricostituisce un ecosistema urbano ammalorato dal crescente inquinamento atmosferico: le diverse essenze vegetali, infatti, costituiscono un ambiente che può anche essere colonizzato da uccelli ed insetti, trasformando questo biosistema sospeso in un simbolo della ricolonizzazione spontanea sia della flora che della fauna.
HANGING FROM THE GREEN
The house we dreamed of as children, hidden among the branches of a tree, where imagined creatures and parallel worlds came to life, sheltered from the intrusive gaze of adults impatient to steal our priceless secrets, exists!
More or less.
Hanging from the green is the container of 12 apartments, just outside the historic centre of Lucca and is configured as an example of a sustainable residential building that encourages and promotes the regeneration of the environment.
The classical proportion between the built and the vegetal part is reversed in favour of a project that is characterized by the predominant presence of green that appropriates surfaces and space.
On the ground floor are ethereal volumes, made of wood, which welcome lounge areas, private and external so as to offer different degrees of permeability and privacy, according to need, as well as acting as a filter and solar control on the south facing slope.
On the upper floors, on the other hand, trees and plants protrude and overhang to form a clearly distinguishable design.
The study and strategic positioning of the green, therefore, contributes to the creation of a special microclimate, produces humidity and oxygen, absorbs CO2 particles and fine dust and, thanks to the mitigation of the plants, the internal spaces are protected from direct solar radiation and noise pollution is contained.
The biological habitat of the building, suspended from the green, acts directly on the biodiversity that reconstitutes an urban ecosystem damaged by increasing atmospheric pollution: the different plant essences, in fact, constitute an environment that can also be colonized by birds and insects, transforming this suspended bio system into a symbol of spontaneous recolonization of both flora and fauna.
