Purezza, rigore e pulizia sono i tre capisaldi che hanno guidato il progetto di ristrutturazione di un appartamento nel centro storico di Lucca.

L’obiettivo principale è stato quello di trasformare uno spazio anonimo, frastagliato e discontinuo in uno aperto, brillante e fluido, grazie anche all’utilizzo di lavorazioni coerenti in tutti gli ambienti: dalla resina scura che inonda il pavimento di tutto l’appartamento, al trattamento delle murature; dall’enfatizzazione della copertura esistente in legno e cotto, agli inserti studiati di pietre ed acciaio.

Il tutto nel rispetto dell’essenzialità progettata e funzionale.

Purity, rigor and cleanliness are the three cornerstones that have guided the renovation project of an apartment in the historic center of Lucca.

The main objective was to transform an anonymous, jagged and discontinuous space into an open, bright and fluid space, thanks also to the use of consistent processes in all environments: from the dark resin that floods the floor of the whole apartment, to the treatment of the walls; from the emphasis on the existing wood and terracotta roof, to the studied stone and steel inserts.
